Yehudis grew up in London as part of the Charedi (Ultra-orthodox) Jewish community. When she disclosed her experiences of sexual abuse by a family friend, she and her family were punished and faced ostracisation.
In 2011, Yehudis set up a charity supporting other Jewish victims of sexual abuse across the UK, providing them with information that was otherwise inaccessible to them. Through her work in the sector, she developed a working group to establish the Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week, the first of its kind in the UK. The week focuses on amplifying the voices of those with lived experiences and prompting resources, services, and campaigns about sexual abuse and sexual violence.
#ItsNotOk Yehudis chaired the Met Police Independent Advisory Group for Rape & Serious Sexual Offences, ensuring victims from all cultures and communities are represented in policing and referral pathways were established for victims that engaged in the criminal justice system. Yehudis works as a Policy Officer and is completing a Masters at Goldsmiths University in Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse.
